in my opinion I find that the song in some places reflects van Gogh’s feelings. For example,
“You took your life, as lovers often do
But I could’ve told you Vincent
This world was never meant for
One as beautiful as you” these lyrics do not clearly present van Gogh’s emotions but we know from many texts that his psychology was quite down, as in these lyrics that he brings out melancholy and when you hear a plethora of negative emotions. Also the lyrics clearly say “You took your life” where they refer to the same

The song Vincent by Don McLean reflects Van Gogh’s attitude and feelings by showing how deeply he suffered and how misunderstood he felt. The lyrics describe his emotional pain and his struggle to be heard through his art. Lines like “they would not listen, they did not know how” show how people ignored or couldn’t understand him. At the same time, the song admires his unique way of seeing the world and his artistic talent, capturing both his sadness and his beauty.

Don McLean’s song describes exactly how Vincent Van Gogh was feeling.Van Gogh was an unstable man with mental problems and many say that he was deeply emotional.Like Don said “how you suffered for your sanity” and “with eyes that know the darkness in my soul” we can understand that Van Gogh had suffered a lot.In addition, the song describes the kind of colours the arist was using.

In my opinion, I believe that the song reflects Van Gogh’s feelings, such as loneliness and the search for peace. The stars and the night in the song symbolize his struggles and his need for understanding. It also captures his deep connection to the beauty of the world, despite his inner turmoil. It also highlights the contradiction between the external beauty of the world and his internal battles, something that was characteristic of Van Gogh’s life.

I think the song shows Van Gogh’s feelings and attitude very well. It talks about how he was a sensitive and emotional person who often felt lonely and misunderstood. The song helps us see that even though he was very talented, many people didn’t understand or value his art during his life. It also shows that Van Gogh saw beauty in the world, especially in nature, and expressed his feelings through painting. The song makes us feel sympathy for him and helps us understand the pain he went through.
